The NVIDIA app now lets an AI assistant tune your games for you
NVIDIA says its app includes a local connection that lets compatible AI agents see your games, apply settings and start recording.

NVIDIA's latest app update, version 11.0.9.565, lets you hand some of your PC's game settings to an AI assistant. NVIDIA's release notes describe it in a few lines.
What it does
NVIDIA says the NVIDIA app now includes a local MCP server. MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is a common way for AI assistants to connect to other software. NVIDIA says this lets a compatible AI agent control the app with plain-language requests.
NVIDIA gives examples. An assistant can see which games you have installed, apply NVIDIA's recommended settings, or turn on ShadowPlay to record your gameplay. NVIDIA names Hermes, OpenClaw and Perplexity as assistants that can do this.
What else is in the update
NVIDIA's notes also list support for RTX Spark devices, a new beta Performance Mode for DLSS Frame Generation, and new CPU readings in the on-screen overlay, such as clock speed, power and temperature.
What you can try
Update the NVIDIA app on a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card. NVIDIA says the feature lives under Settings, Features, AI Agents and App Connections. Connect an assistant you already use, then ask it something like "set up my games for the best performance" and check what it changed.
