Make a clip, then check it

These tools animate a still or a sentence into a few seconds of motion. The check is whether the motion stayed honest.

An AI video tool makes a short clip from a sentence, a still image, or both. It is a picture that moves, not a camera that was in the room. The useful clips are the ones where you already accept the first frame and you ask for one simple motion.

Try this

  1. Start from a still you would publish on its own. If the first frame is wrong, the clip will be wrong for longer.
  2. Ask for one motion. "The cup steams" is a better instruction than "a cinematic story about morning."
  3. Keep it short. A few seconds. Longer clips are where faces, hands, and objects drift.
  4. Watch it twice with the sound off, then once with the sound on. The picture and the audio can disagree.

Check the result

Pause in the middle. Does the subject still match the first frame? Did a new object appear? If the clip shows a real event, a real person, or a news scene, label it as generated before you share it. A convincing clip is not a recording.

If a tool offers a "play reel" of someone else's footage, that is their sample, not your evidence. Make the clip from a still you chose.
