Grok Voice 3.0 is the voice you talk to in a Tesla

SpaceXSI says its new speech model handles millions of conversations a day in Tesla cars and most Starlink support calls without a person.

On October 14, 2026, SpaceXSI announced Grok Voice 3.0. It is a speech-to-speech model. You talk, it listens and talks back, with no typing in between.

Where people already hear it

SpaceXSI says Grok Voice 3.0 handles millions of conversations a day in Tesla cars. The company says drivers can check a calendar or answer an email by voice, and hand bigger jobs, like ordering coffee or booking dinner, to Grok Bot. SpaceXSI says the new model also powers Grok Bot's voice mode.

The company says Starlink call centers use it for about 20,000 customer calls a day across several languages. It says roughly 70 percent are resolved with no human involved.

How good is it?

SpaceXSI says Grok Voice 3.0 ranks first on a speech-to-speech index from Artificial Analysis, an outside testing firm, with a score of 86.9. It also says the model replies in under a second and handles pauses and interruptions well. These are the company's figures as it reports them, and it chose which tests to highlight. SpaceXSI also says ServiceNow's benchmark for customer-service voice agents put it on top.

What you can try

If you drive a Tesla or use Grok Bot's voice mode, SpaceXSI says you are already on the new model. Try a real errand: ask about your next meeting, or have it answer a message, and see how it handles being interrupted. For developers, SpaceXSI lists the Voice Agent API at $0.08 a minute, the same as the previous version.
