ChatGPT Slides builds a presentation your team can edit together
OpenAI says Slides can start from a chat, files or an outline and export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides. It is rolling out to Pro, Business and Enterprise users.

OpenAI added ChatGPT Slides to its ChatGPT release notes around October 16, 2026. It is a way to make presentations inside ChatGPT and keep working on them with other people. The release notes list it at the top without a separate date heading.
How it works
OpenAI says you can start a deck from a conversation, from files or from an outline. You can also share an example deck so ChatGPT copies its style and layout.
Once the deck exists, OpenAI says you can edit text, images, shapes and charts yourself, or ask ChatGPT to make the changes. It can generate images for the slides, or you can add your own.
Working as a team
Slides lives in Space, the ChatGPT area for shared projects. OpenAI says you can invite teammates to edit the same deck at the same time and leave comments for each other.
Getting it out of ChatGPT
OpenAI says you can present straight from ChatGPT. On the web, you can export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides. In the desktop app, you can open the deck in PowerPoint or Keynote if you have them installed.
Who gets it
OpenAI says Slides is rolling out to eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users who have Space, on the web and in the desktop app. Plus and Free users are not listed.
What you can try
If you have access, OpenAI says to ask ChatGPT in Work to create a presentation in Space. Try pasting in notes from a meeting and asking for a five-slide summary, then check every number before you present it.
